General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is in quite a predicament at the moment.

As viewers know, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) was presumed dead a few years ago so Carly had to step up in a big way.

In order to keep her family safe, Carly had to attend a meeting of the 5 families during which she asserted that she was the new head of the Corinthos Organization.

Unfortunately, that meeting was secretly recorded by an unknown party and somehow made it’s way into the FBI’s possession.

General Hospital Spoilers – John Cates Blackmailed Jason Morgan

For almost three years, FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) has been using that recording to make Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) work for the FBI as an informant.

Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) hacked into the FBI’s computer system and located the evidence but although he could hear it, he was not able to delete it.

Once Carly found out, it was only a matter of time before she confessed so that she could set Jason free from the FBI’s control.

Obviously, Carly won’t spend two decades in prison for RICOH violations. The question is how will she get out of it?

GH Spoilers – Jack Brennan To The Rescue!

Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) came to Port Charles late last year and was immediately smitten with Carly.

The two of them had a flirtatious relationship until Brennan’s connection to the Pikeman Group was exposed and he was arrested, but not before he was about to seemingly kidnap Carly.

Even so, Carly visited Brennan in prison several times and even made him her confidant once she found out about the FBI’s evidence. Brennan did his best to give Carly advice but now Brennan has vanished!

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) recently discovered that Brennan’s time at Pentonville has been erased as were all the records from the police files. Anna believes that either the WSB or the FBI has facilitated Jack’s disappearance.

It may even be possible that Brennan has been working for one of those organizations the whole time as a double agent. If that’s the case he may very well have access to the FBI’s evidence against Carly.

And unlike Spinelli, Brennan just might have the clout to delete the recording and set Carly free from the FBI’s grasp.
