General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that a big twist just got Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) off the hook and set the stage for a romantic shift. In the July 30 episode, the incriminating recording vanished and left the FBI with nothing they could use to throw Carly in prison.
Of course, it’s easy to see that Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) is responsible for Carly’s lucky break.
CDL previously made a prediction that Brennan would be the hero who made sure the proof against Carly disappeared.
Now it’s all coming together on-screen, so what happens after Carly gets updates on Brennan’s kind gesture?
Without Brennan’s intervention, there’s a good chance Carly would’ve been locked up for many years.
Brennan made it so Carly could stay with her family and continue living a happy life, so she could never thank him enough for that.
However, Carly should eventually have a chance to show at least a little gratitude.
Brennan and Carly already had some chemistry, but sparks could really fly between them once Carly realizes how much he stepped up for her.
It’d be a total waste if GH writers didn’t pursue Carly and Brennan as a romantic pairing, especially considering what he just did for her.
Brennan may have a reason to land back in Port Charles soon – or maybe Carly could meet up with him in Washington instead.
Either way, perhaps Carly could show her gratitude to Brennan by letting passion erupt with him!
Many fans would like to see Brennan and Carly hit the sheets, so maybe these two will ultimately land in bed together.
Even if it doesn’t turn into a real relationship that’s meant to last, Carly and Brennan could at least have some hot fun together.
Brennan is a complicated guy who’s made plenty of mistakes, so we’re not saying this fixes everything.
There are certainly some secrets that Carly wouldn’t approve of if she knew – like the fact that Brennan was in the loop on Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) sabotaged meds.
That said, Carly may remain in the dark on that and some other shady aspects of Brennan’s character.
All that’s going to matter to Carly in this moment is Brennan fixed it so she could avoid a lengthy prison stint.
That might be enough for Brennan and Carly to strip down for a passionate encounter, so stay tuned to see if some sizzling news is looming.
