General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) was caught off guard when Jason Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) abruptly canceled their speedboat trip plans. Danny held onto hope that they could get those plans back on track, but then Jason called with even worse news.
In GH’s July 24 episode, Jason let Danny know he was headed out of town for a mission that he couldn’t offer details on.
Danny quickly became upset and even suggested they could take off on the boat for Canada together, but Jason nixed that idea.
That proved Danny was ready to run, so maybe that’ll play a role in what comes next.
While Danny was on the phone with Jason, he seemingly heard the announcement about the next bus to Albany departing in 15 minutes.
Of course, that’s not where Jason is actually headed. John Cates (Adam J. Harrington) ordered Jason to get on the bus to Quantico since the plan is for him to receive a new identity and more info on his assignment once he’s there.
However, Danny doesn’t realize that, so could he hop a bus to Albany and cause chaos?
That’s one option to consider now that Danny’s overheard that departure destination and perhaps has the wrong idea.
Danny might hope to track Jason down and somehow help his dad wiggle out of the tight spot he’s landed in.
On the other hand, Danny seemed awfully hurt, angry and confused over Jason’s updates.
It’s possible Danny will be upset enough to just run away for parts unknown in despair.
Whatever the case, this GH storyline has created the potential for a runaway Danny crisis, which could leave Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) in panic mode.
This would certainly give Sam another reason to blame Jason for causing so much upheaval in Danny’s life.
We know Steve Burton isn’t leaving the show as Jason Morgan, so this new assignment is a fake-out anyway.
Jason’s going to get out of this FBI mess soon, but will he have to tackle a different personal mission and track down missing Danny?
