Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle, played by Eden Taylor-Droper, could be in for a surprise pregnancy.
This year, Belle has been embroiled in a harrowing domestic abuse plot with her new husband Tom, portrayed by James Chase.
The situation worsened when he found out she had terminated their unborn child.
Initially, Belle misled Tom by saying she had miscarried, but he eventually discovered the truth, leaving him furious.
Recently, the couple and Belle’s dog, Piper, left Emmerdale to stay at a cottage in Wales, where Tom was secretly planning to relocate permanently.
Their abrupt departure caused concern among Belle’s family who, after finding the address, tracked Belle down and went to the unknown cottage.
However, they made a shocking discovery upon arrival. They found blood smeared across a door at the Welsh holiday home.
Wednesday’s episode (July 24) revealed what exactly transpired through flashback scenes of Tom and Belle’s arrival at the cottage. Over several days, Tom subjected Belle to abuse and gaslighting until she managed to escape, reports the Express.
In gripping scenes, Tom pursued Belle across the Welsh countryside. Fortunately, she flagged down a bus and got on it, leaving Tom behind. However, despite her successful escape from Tom, viewers are worried that another pregnancy may be looming for Belle.
On a Facebook fan page, speculation was rife with one user commenting: “Bell will now find out she is pregnant again! ! ” Another concurred, adding: “Noooo – but suspect you are right! “.
A third contributed their thoughts, saying: “I was thinking this as well, there’s nothing Tom wouldn’t do at this point.” Meanwhile, another fan expressed their exasperation: “Oh god I hope not give her a break please.”
